A New Year’s Message From Dr. Roger Callahan

This year starts off with continued change for the world, and also for Thought Field Therapy. The need for alternative therapy has never been greater, and we continue to see thousands of new people each month coming to our website to get help with stress, anxiety, fear and trauma.

In 2011, we focused on expansion of our live training programs throughout the world, for both the personal use of TFT as well as the use of TFT in helping others. This year, we are expanding to the Spanish language in Mexico, Spain and South America.

We’ve also created new products and training for all levels of TFT. The ATFT Foundation, continues to provide humanitarian relief, research and education around the world. We’ll also be releasing the ATFT foundation documentary demonstrating the model for large-scale trauma relief using TFT.

Now that I am confident in the future success of TFT, I’ve decided that it’s a good time to make one last change.

After sharing TFT with the world for over 32 years, I’ll will be stepping back from the day-to-day operations to enjoy spending more time with my 8 grandchildren, and pursuing my hobbies of reading and enjoying the outdoors.

I’ll continue on as Chairman of The Board for Callahan Techniques, and will no longer be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. My wife and partner, Joanne, who has worked with me the past 23 years, will continue to keep TFT growing. I am fully confident that Joanne, and our the team of exceptional TFT trainers and advisors,  will continue to make Thought Field Therapy the leading tapping therapy.

As a retirement gift, the TFT staff gave me a booklet called “The Past & Future of TFT” that was touching, to say the least. I thank all of the practitioner and trainers who submitted stories in the booklet.

I would like to share it with you.

Thank you Roger, for what you have meant to me and my family the last 14 years. I pressed “like”, not because I like the idea that you are stepping back but because you deserve to be able to spend more time with your family and because Joanne is the perfect person to continue your fantastic work. Thank you for your contributions to a better world and may your life be forever good!

    Greetings Roger,

One of the greatest joys in my life is the time I spend with my four grandchildren. I think this to be one of the greatest secrets kept by those who are, from those who aren’t yet!

Thanks for the professional skill and creativity you have brought to the pyschology arena. Your discoveries have helped millions along their path in life. Dariah and I are privileged to have had you and Joanne as our teachers and being of service through Thought Field Therapy is now how we enjoy giving back in gratitude for the abundant life we lead.

Love and best wishes, Bruce and Dariah

Since I just found you, I feel sad that I have not had the opportunity to get help from you personally. You was recommended by Kevin Trudeau and I have needed help for so long. Being a Katrina survivor and having continued challenges since then including Job Loss and a drowning in my bath tub, I am searching desperately for help. Since I am unemployed, most of the help is fairly high in price. So if you could please suggest something for me, I would appreciate it tremendously.

Bless you and enjoy your retirement.

Roger, you are a true world-changer. You are a gift beyond measure, and have changed more lives than could be counted. You were the pioneer in the tapping field. Were it not for your personal sacrifices and incredible dedication to exploring and creating this field, we would not have what we have today. You deserve every rich blessing that anyone could ever have. Thank you for all you have done for all of us.

Practicing Thought field therapy for the last 14 years has been a major component of my chiropractic practice. I can not count the number of people who report being helped by this practice. The most fascinating and sometimes bittersweet result for me happens when people do not know that they have been helped. They will sometimes say that they felt no significant change. However when I check in with them in a few months or they leave and return to practice they will report very significant changes. They are not necessarily aware of the connection. They might even say that, “thing, event, fear, obsession, memory, that used to rule my life is no longer an issue even though it went on for over ten years”
This is a lesson in humility because we need to remain present that it is the change that is important and not necessarily that we are acknowledged for our involvement in it. Thanks so much for your incredibly innovative and ground breaking mind.

    Greetings to you Roger.
I learned TFT in 2001 and have later followed your dx and adv. courses. As a klinical psychologist, I am glad to let you know that it changed my professional life, and that I am practising TFT every day. TFT has helped me to understand psychological problems in a new perspective, to the great benefit for my patiens.
I thank you very much for your progressive work, and wish you all the best for the days and years to come.

I am so glad to see the flourishing continuation by your family of TFT
Whilst you don’t know me , I am an EFT Trainer of Trainers in Spain and I want to give the biggest hug and thank you ever !
I always teach the History of EFT ( Emotional Freedom Techniques )as part of the syllabus required and you are always there fair and square on my white board every time!.On my courses, I always introduce your book ‘Tapping the Healer within’as a must have and leave students your book there to browse through on the course. They all buy it !
I for one am grateful to know of your huge impact and deication on the World.
I suffered a double brain haemorrhage nearly 9 years ago and recovered remarkably quickly from debilitating symptoms that the medical world couldnt help me with. Yes whilst I used EFT, I understood the derivatives and where EFT came from. I was also given some of your videos by a TFT Practitioner here.
So from Spain to you…un beso !

I first came across a TFT advert in Psychology Today back in 1998 and knew that this was something tangible and different, I did the Step B with you at Indio in October,1999. It was a privilege to meet you, I regard you as the ” Father of Psychology” and your contribution to the wellbeing of Society cannot be estimated.
I trust you will enjoy your retirement because you really deserve everything good that comes your way.

Roger – you have given us such a gift.
I want to thank you for giving me the freedom I did not have until TFT.
I was so fearful of public speaking I lost a lot of work, and, quite frankly, missed a lot of enjoyment in life.
Because I was too afraid to speak publicly I would almost black out when asked.
I had tried so many different modalities, prior to TFT, that didn’t help me at all.
I thought I was going to live the rest of my life in fear!
Today I give talks, can stand up anywhere, anytime and have the ability to speak in front of any amount of people.
I have a freedom that I never thought I would ever have.
Thank you for what you have done for us.
I wish you all the joy, peace and everything your heart desires.
