Class2

Celestin-and-Jenny

Last weekend Celestin Mitabu, the TFT Foundation’s lead trainer in Kigali, Rwanda, and Director of the Rwandan Orphans Project, joined the Callahan’s Optimal Health training in Seattle, WA. His training was provided by the Callahan’s and his travel by the TFT Foundation, including considerable donations from board members Jenny Edwards and Suzanne Connolly. Jenny donated a majority of the airline miles for his trip and Suzanne and her family hosted him in Seattle for nearly a week. Joanne, Jenny and Suzanne also donated personally, school and personal hygiene materials for the orphans.

This is a cause for celebration as Celestin is the first to have learned TFT Voice Technology in Africa. He will use it to support further trainings in adjoining regions and countries. He has already been asked to train in the Congo and will assist with the foundation’s follow-up to the 2012 PTSD study in Uganda. He has already done so much to help the people of his country and share TFT with others, we are proud to have him represent TFT in Kigali.

Celestin brought a beautiful carved walking stick to present to Roger, TFT’s Founder, as a thank you for the gift of TFT. He told us these sticks are presented to “men of honor”.

Joanne CallahanI do hope you all had a chance to watch the teaser for our upcoming documentary, and read the latest issue of Tapping for Humanity.  If not, click here to watch the video:  www.TFTFoundation.org.

When you see the research and trauma relief we sponsor, you will see how important this work is.  We are in need of two laptop computers for this year’s team and PTSD study in Uganda next month.  Please if you have an unused laptop laying around, consider donating to support our research and humanitarian relief.

You can email me, joanne@tftrx.com if you can help us out.

Thank you,

Joanne

International trauma expert Suzanne Connolly will be on Healing Talk Radio for a live demonstration of Thought Field Therapy in the treatment of PTSD, On Wednesday March 30th at 11AM MST.

Suzanne has healed trauma and trained trauma therapists throughout the world. She was invited to travel to Littleton Coloroado to train professionals who were treating the traumatized survivors of the Columbine High School shooting. Suzanne has also traveled to Kuwait, France and Rwanda to train community workers in trauma recovery and to directly treat victims of genocide.

Suzanne has participated in three different research studies, including the study “Treatment of PTSD in Rwandan Child Genocide Survivors Using Thought Field Therapy”, published in Winter 2010 edition of International Journal of Emergency Mental Health, 12(1), 41-50. Suzanne is also author of the book “Thought Field Therapy: Clinical Applications Integrating TFT in Psychotherapy. published in 2004.

A local client volunteer with disabling symptoms of PTSD will join the radio program and Suzanne Connolly will work live on the air with the client to resolve her problems, which include intense nightmares almost every night and severe, intrusive fears.

After over 20 years of practice and research, Thought Field Therapy continues to produce dramatic results in the resolution of brain-stem based emotional issues. Meridian-based tapping releases have been shown in studies to be the fastest of all release methods for phobias and fear issues, and can produce dramatic improvement for these problems one session.

With its precision, carefully developed algorithms and history of humanitarian use for trauma, Thought Field Therapy is the premier and original meridian-based release therapy.

ACEP Lifetime Achievement Award

Joanne Callahan and Roger Callahan ACEP Lifetime Achievement AwardIt was truly an honor to be recognized by colleagues from around the world, for my thirty years of building Thought Field Therapy (TFT).   There was so much excitement and warmth from so many of the over 500 people attending the annual ACEP conference.

People came up to me throughout the four days telling me how pleased they were to carry on my work into the world.  Others said, “you saved my life three years ago”.   Some I have met previously but had not seen for years, others I did not know but all showed the same warmth and appreciation with a passion for helping others.   It was inspiring to see all the various forms of Tapping, the research being done and the humanitarian relief work that is helping so many people throughout the world.

The source of tappingJoanne and I received a standing ovation from our workshop “Thirty Years of Healing With Thought Field Therapy” as we demonstrated the power tools of TFT and showed the many changes and improvements that have taken place in TFT over the last three decades.  They were so grateful and some even expressed surprise at how much TFT has evolved from it’s early days as the Callahan Techniques.

I was so proud when our ATFT Foundation team, Suzanne Connolly and Caroline Sakai, presented their humanitarian relief work and PTSD studies and announced the acceptance for publication of the first study.  They too received a standing ovation and a very strong endorsement from one of ACEP’s lead researchers, David Feinstein.

ACEP ConferenceThe entire conference was exciting with a wonderful positive community spirit. I am pleased to see that our practitioner base is growing and we welcome all who are working with tapping, at the algorithm level, to continue on with their skills and grow with our new training programs in TFT.

A special thanks to all of our clients, practitioners and “tappers”… you’ve helped to make TFT the success it is today,

Roger Callahan.
