Understanding and Reducing the Impact of Toxins in Our Everyday Lives

Augst 15, 2026 at 11 AM EDT

For more than 30 years, we’ve taught a powerful concept first shared by environmental allergist Dr. Doris Rapp:

We each have a “barrel” or total load of stressors that our bodies can handle before we begin to experience symptoms and become less resilient.

That load can come from many sources—our environment, food, household products, emotional experiences, and other stressors. When the barrel becomes too full, our ability to cope can be affected.

The good news? We can often create more room in our barrel by identifying and reducing some of the stressors that affect us.

That’s why I want to invite you to this month’s Well-Being webinar:

Understanding and Reducing the Impact of Toxins in Our Everyday Lives

Join me this Saturday, August 15, for one hour that could change the way you think about your everyday environment and well-being.

In this session, I’ll help you better understand the many types of toxins and environmental stressors we encounter every day, how they may affect people differently, and practical ways to reduce your overall load.

We’ll explore:

  • Food and drink
  • Household and office cleaners
  • Personal care products
  • EMFs
  • Mold and dust
  • Environmental chemicals and contaminants

We’ll also discuss ways people have worked to reduce the impact of these stressors, including:

  • Nutritional support
  • Meditation
  • Diet and lifestyle changes
  • Saunas and other wellness practices
  • Continuing education
  • Supplementation
  • Energy and EMF-related devices
  • Cleansing and detox practices

My late husband, Dr. Roger Callahan, recognized the importance of individual responses to environmental factors decades ago. Throughout his career, he explored how specific substances and stressors could affect people differently and how those effects could be addressed.

Over the years, I’ve learned ways to create more room in my own “barrel,” and I’ll share some of those lessons with you during this session.

Small changes can sometimes make a meaningful difference.

Join me Saturday, August 15, and learn practical ways to identify potential stressors, reduce your overall load, and create more room for resilience and well-being.

Participants will also have the opportunity to have their case addressed. These requests need to be submitted in advance.
