MCImageSMThe recent school tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, has left many families torn apart with grief and rage, and many other witnesses throughout the world filled with feelings of confusion, blame and anger. All this is very understandable—and yet, as difficult as it may be to imagine, there is another possible response to such disasters.

Master Charles Cannon is a world-renown master of meditation, contemporary spiritual visionary and holistic educator. In November 2008, he and 24 of his students and associates were visiting India when they were caught in the Pakistani Muslim terrorist attack in Mumbai. During the 45-hour siege, one of his closest associates and his 13-year-old daughter were killed, and four others were seriously wounded.

The response he and his group had to these horrors was so out of the ordinary, so unexpected by the media and the world–and so hopeful–that they experienced an outpouring of gratitude and respect from people all over the world. With much encouragement, Master Charles answered this outpouring with the book Forgiving the Unforgiveable, for which Eckhart Tolle wrote the foreword, and Neale Donald Walsch the afterword.
